The 1965 Pendant was originally designed byPaavo Tynell in 1947. Like many of his bestknowndesigns, the pendant was designed forthe Finland House in New York – one of themost ambitious and successful projects of alltime to showcase Finnish design.Perfecting the techniques of metal finishes,Tynell developed the 1965 Pendant with hisexceptional ability to capture and translate agrace and exuberant lightness into his brasscreations. Characterized by its triangularperforation pattern, an artistic detail utilisedby Tynell in several of his lighting objects, the 1965 Pendant reflects the distinguishedcraftsmanship of the Finnish designer. Witha frosted glass diffuser that softens the light, the pendant contributes to a subtle andtranquil environment.
