Italic, or cursive, is a typeface that was created to imitate handwriting. The italic definition is a tribute to Aldo Manuzio, the man who in 1500 democratized culture by inventing the printed book. The Italic armchair is inspired by these premises: a masterly demonstration of craftmanship of Driade artisans and a tribute to the Italian genius. As a carrier of assembled elements, halfway between an armchair and a small architecture, which indicates the direction of Driade for the coming years.
